Advertising and Donations Info
Last year on
Memorial Day we had our first annual Tribute to the Wilburn
Brothers, Hardy’s own Grand Ole Opry stars. Thanks to our fans and
sponsors we have raised money for 6 signs to proclaim this fact at
each entrance into Hardy. We are now working to establish a museum
in their honor, not only to honor the Wilburns but to bring business
to Hardy. We established this website for this endeavor. It is
being seen nationally by the country music community in Nashville
and linked to websites all over the country. It is being advertised
to all Wilburn Brothers information sites. It is also being
advertised on XM satellite radio, channel 171. If you would like to
be a part of this, we will give you a
business card size ad for
$20.00 on the website. These ads will be up for one year. All
proceeds from these ads will go to the Wilburn Brothers Museum Fund.
Checks can be made to ‘Wilburn
Brothers Museum Fund’ and mailed to the below
address. Thank you for your help.
The Wilburn
Family was here for the show. Legendary steel guitarist, Don Helms
played in the show as well as Hardy’s own Billy Joe French, the True
Brothers from Greensborough
NC, Possum Trot, a surprise performance by Chris and
Taylor Malpass and many more very talented local musicians. This
year promises to be even better !
